Pact ("we," "us," "our") operates the Pact mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. We are based in the United Kingdom and process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Pact is a social accountability app that helps users make commitments ("pacts"), invite friends as accountability partners, check in daily, and communicate in group chats.

Pact is built on Supabase, a third-party backend infrastructure provider, which stores and processes the data described above on our behalf. Supabase acts as our data processor and maintains its own security safeguards. We do not share your data with any other third party except as required to operate the App (via Supabase) or as required by law.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your associated data as described in Section 7 below, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Pact is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we become aware that a user under 16 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete it. If you believe a user under 16 is using Pact, please contact us at the email above.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the App: go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account information, profile, pact and check-in history, and chat messages from our systems.

We rely on Supabase's security infrastructure (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
